        How do you keep current with emerging trends in education, classroom tools, and technologies?  That is the question that teachers are constantly being asked.  First off, you have to be in touch with the outside world to know about all of the new technology that is being invented.  Secondly, you have to try and see if you are able to bring that technology into your classroom.  Kids love games and if there is a new education tool that presents ways to keep kids entertained through academically stimulating games you as a teacher would want that.  Lastly, you have to know how to work the technology.  If you bring it into a classroom setting and don't know how to use it, you kids well get off task easier than without.  You also have to be able to safely monitor them while they are using the equipment.  Keeping the kids safe is always your number one rule as a teacher.  With all of the new inventions and technology coming out, teachers need to stay up to date on it.  That is how I would stay up to date and that's how I will hopefully maintain a great atmosphere in my room.
